GOT QUESTIONS?

Good. It’s smart to ask questions where your money is concerned. We’ve put together a list of all the questions we’d ask before trying out a new financial services provider. If you can think of any others, get in touch and we’ll add them to the list.

ADD A QUESTION
  • WHAT'S STACK ALL ABOUT?

STACK is a social money platform to replace your traditional money services and give you back the control to better manage your money, without fees.

STACK provides a simple way for our members to understand and improve their financial health, creating a positive, sustainable relationship with their money, without the stress associated with most financial products or transactions.

STACK accounts include a chip-and-pin Mastercard prepaid card, providing seamless and secure point-of-sale access to worldwide retailers, global ATM networks and Purchase Protection on every transaction.

  • WHAT DOES A STACK ACCOUNT GIVE YOU?

    • A mobile account for fee-free money services on your mobile phone
    • Tap to Pay functionality on the STACK App
    • The ability to withdraw cash from any ATM for free
    • Access to relevant rewards and offers, curated just for you
    • Tips, tools and tailored advice to reach your financial goals, faster
    • Contextual rewards and offers based on where you spend your money
    • A chip-and-pin Mastercard prepaid card for seamless and secure point-of-sale access to worldwide retailers, global ATM networks and Purchase Protection on every transaction
  • ARE YOU LIVE YET?

We’ve just launched our Beta app in Google Play (yay!) and we’ll be adding users gradually over the next several months. If you’ve joined our Beta waitlist, you’ll receive an email when we’re ready to set up your account.

  • I S STACK DIFFERENT THAN A TRADITIONAL ACCOUNT?

Think of us like a bouncer for your money. We’ll protect it from fees, service charges and other shady characters. We partner with other financial institutions so you won’t have to, leaving you more time (and cash) for things that matter.

  • HOW DOES STACK MAKE A PROFIT?

We make our money business-to-business so our members aren’t padding our pockets. We make a portion of the retailer interchange on each transaction, which allows us to provide you with all the benefits, without the fees.

  • WHO CAN SIGN UP FOR STACK?

STACK is a Canadian company, so right now we’re open to Canadian residents, over the age of 18. You’ll need a mobile device that’s compatible with our system requirements.

  • IS STACK AVAILABLE IN QUEBEC?

Not yet, but we’re working around the clock, so stay tuned. À bientôt !

  • IS MY MONEY SAFE? IS IT INSURED?

We know you take your money seriously, and so do we. We partner with Mastercard, so your payments are secure, with Purchase Protection on every transaction. Our partners are best-in-class with leading security safeguards.

  • WHERE CAN I USE STACK?

Anywhere you like! STACK is available 24/7 on your mobile, and you can use your mobile app or STACK card anywhere major credit cards are accepted.

  • IS IT MOBILE ONLY?

We’re built for mobile, but if you feel like going old-school, we’ll hook you up with a STACK card that you can use at any retailer or ATM. You can use your mobile or STACK card anywhere major credit cards are accepted, and at ATMs around the world.

  • ARE THERE STACK BRANCHES?

We think you deserve instant access to financial services no matter where you are. We’ve made all of our services available on your phone, so you never need to go out of your way to do what you need to. If you need cash, just visit any participating ATM.

  • HOW DO I GET CASH?

You can use your STACK card to withdraw cash from your account anywhere you’d use a major credit card. ATM withdrawals are free. Obviously.

  • CAN I GET A STACK CREDIT CARD?

We want you to manage the money you have, not spend what you don’t. So we’re focused on providing a platform that lets you make the most of your money. We know credit cards are necessary sometimes, so we’ve got them on our radar, but for now we’ll stick to what we like best.
